Cord
aka Attila Gal's story began
in his musical primary school
when he first realized how sound
can be transformed into music.
He spent 4 years playing his
clarinet before he finally drifted
towards the realm of electronic
music. Cord started with soft
drum and bass which was appreciated
by many through the Internet.

Soon his track Mermaid was released
(under the Subscope label), in co-production
with famous hungarian d'n'b producer
Chris.su. The Cord sound is easily
recognizable: Have you heard soft
harmonies mixed with hard rolling
bass, or delayed melodies mixed with
nice atmospheres, or soft harmonies
mixed with delayed melodies, or hard
rolling bass mixed with nice atmospheres,
and so on? So that's Cord. He works
not only above 160bpm, and his new
break tunes are just as Cord-sounding.
